HI, I'M ANDY ROBERTSON
BECOMING A CQE WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID TO GROW MY CAREER
When I started in Quality many years ago, I had no idea what I was doing.
I felt insecure and unproductive because I didn’t know have the skills, knowledge and information to solve problems, manage projects and make high quality decisions I had a lot of potential, but I wasn’t sure how to unlock that potential and become the best Quality Engineering I could, and that’s when I found out about the CQE Certification.
My reputation grew as I learned the skills and tools that I needed to solve problems, lead teams, apply statistical tools and use risk-based thinking within the bigger picture of the Quality Management System.
Best of all, my career and my income grew as I learned these skills!
Oh, and I’ve since passed the CQE Exam three times.
And my story isn’t unique.
ASQ does a survey every year of Quality Engineers and has consistently found that Certified Quality Engineers make on average $10,000 more a year than their non-certified peers.
which makes perfect sense.
The better you are at solving problems, or improving processes, the more valuable you are to your organization, which naturally leads to a higher salary.
This is why I created Become a CQE in 6 Months, so that I could give you the tools you need to grow your own career through CQE Certification!

This course is designed to do more than just help you pass the CQE Exam (which is awesome!), it’s designed to help you GROW!
Growing personally is what’s going to drive career growth, and income growth!
John Maxwell said it best
“Growth is the great separator between those who succeed and those who do not. When I see a person beginning to separate themselves from the pack, it is almost always due to personal growth.”
Becoming a CQE separates you from the pack, because you will grow as you learn the tools, concepts and techniques in the CQE Body of Knowledge.
Remember, success only comes to those who grow.
Benjamin Franklin said
“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.” - Benjamin Franklin
This course is designed around daily, continual growth over a six-month period. As you learn new skills, tools and techniques, you’ll gain new perspectives on quality that will lead to innovative solutions to old problems. You will see things differently than before.
You’ll feel like an expert who has the skills and knowledge to solve complex problems, and your new skills will give you a leg up on your competition for the next promotion.
Becoming a CQE will have a major impact on your career for years to come!
Benjamin Franklin and Stephen Covey both describe education as an investment:
“An Investment in knowledge pays the best interest” – Benjamin Franklin
The single most powerful investment in life is an investment in ourselves - Stephen Covey.
Investing the time and energy required to become a CQE will make you better at solving problems, better at improving processes, give you a broader and deeper understanding of the Quality System, and make you an expert at complex statistical tools.
Investing in these skills and knowledge will unlock your potential and continue to pay you interest for the rest of your career. This investment in education ultimately leads to personal growth, then professional growth, then income growth.
Brian Tracy described this phenomenon like this:
“The quicker you learn, the quicker you earn” – Brian Tracy
Plato discussed the inverse of this principle, and what happens to us when we ignore education:
If a man neglects education, he walks lame to the end of his life.-Plato
Don’t neglect education. Make an investment in your #1 resource, yourself!
Remember, growing your career (and your income) requires personal growth.
When you become a CQE you’ll have a thorough understanding of the Quality System, and the world’s most popular continuous improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, CAPA, etc).
You’ll understand the most important statistical tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Acceptance Sampling, Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Decision Making, Linear Regression and much, much more!

GROWTH THROUGH ACTIVE LEARNING
HELPING YOU LEARN FASTER, AND REMEMBER WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED
Over the last 8 years I’ve helped many people pass the CQE exam, and I always ask them the same question after they pass:
What was the best thing that helped you prepare for the exam?
95% of people tell me it’s practice exams.
Practice exams are extremely important, and I’ll borrow from Benjamin Franklin to explain why:
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
Benjamin Franklin was WAY ahead of his time here.In fact, today’s research on cognitive science (mental processing such as learning effectiveness and memory formation) has proven Mr. Franklin to be absolutely correct.
Research has identified two very different ways of learning - active learning and passive learning.
Passive Learning includes things like reading a book or listening to a lecture. These are activities where you passively sit there and take information into your brain.
The traditional self-study method is a type of passive learning.
Active Learning is any method where information has to comes OUT of your brain. This includes things like taking a quiz, working an example, discussing a topic or writing notes.
Active learning is what Ben Franklin meant when he said “Involve me and I learn”.
In Active Learning, you’re not only taking in new information (passive learning), you’re actively engaged in applying what you’re learning. You are forcing the new information to come out of your brain, which in turn improves memory retention.
Research has shown that active learning leads to better long-term memory formation than passive learning.
People who pass the CQE Exam ALWAYS, ALWAYS report having worked hundreds of practice exam questions!
Practice exams are an awesome form of active learning that helps lock in the knowledge you have. So, when I created this course, I wanted to make active learning a core part of the process.
In fact, every day there will be another practice exam to take. In total I created over 1,000 practice exam questions so that you can crush it on exam day, grow your skills and grow your career.
Not only do I quiz you on the topic you’re studying each day, but I weave in questions from other relevant topics as a review. So, when the course is all over, you’ll actually have answered over 2,000 exam type questions!
If you want to get started learning actively and get CQE certified in the next 6 months, sign up for the course and let’s get started!

LEARNING WITH SPACED REPETITION
BECAUSE LET’S BE HONEST, STATISTICS IS HARD
A lot of folks are terrified about how tough statistics is, which I totally understand!
When I first started studying for the CQE Exam I was nervous about all of the complex topics and calculations within the Statistics section.
After teaching Statistics for the last 8 years, I’ve devised a strategy to handle this important topic, and I stole another strategy from Mark Twain:
“If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to eat it first thing in the morning.”
Statistics is the frog. . . It’s the big ugly part of the CQE Exam that nobody likes.
So, I uniquely designed this course so that statistics is the first topic you’ll learn, and I use two other strategies from cognitive science (active learning and spaced repetition) to improve the rate at which you learn the material and how well you remember it.
Putting statistics first does two important things.
First, you’ll find out quickly if statistics is too much for you.IT WON’T BE, YOU GOT THIS!But if it is, you can always take advantage of the 30-day, no questions asked money back guarantee.
Second, my online course allows me to continuously quiz you on statistics for the remainder of the course while we’re covering other related topics. This is called spaced repetition and it’s a unique part of this online course meant to improve both the rate of learning and long-term memory formation.
What is spaced repetition and how does it work?
In 1885, a German psychologist (Hermann Ebbinghaus), performed a series of tests on himself over various time periods to quantify the exact rate at which we humans forget. He called this the Forgetting Curve, and it shows that Humans generally forget nearly 50% of what we learn within only 20 minutes and 75% of what we learn in 1 week.
Following his breakthrough analysis, Ebbinghaus continued his research by studying the effect of what has since become known as Spaced Repetition.
What Ebbinghaus found was that he could dramatically improve his memory retention by strategically spacing out multiple review sessions of the material over time.
This is why I love my online course because I can strategically space out review sessions of statistics over time to ensure you actually learn and ultimately remember statistics.
I’ve found that when I pair up active learning (practice quizzes) with spaced repetition, it creates a winning formula for teaching people Statistics!
